Hack The Mainframe

This is it. The button that launched a thousand movie montages. Press it and watch six dramatic stages of nothing culminate in a glorious, meaningless ACCESS GRANTED. Re-runnable. Risk-free. Deeply satisfying.

approved targets

Choose your imaginary victim.

Selecting a target does nothing, because the button does nothing. But the threat level is real. (It is not real.)

disclaimers, sort of

Important questions.

Did I actually hack anything?

No. Absolutely not. You pressed a button and watched some text scroll. Nothing connected to anything. You are not on a list. Probably.

Why is the button so big and magenta?

Because in every movie, the dangerous button is enormous and impossibly bright. We are simply respecting the source material — in 16.7 million colors.

Can I put this on my resume?

Under 'Skills' you may legally write 'pressed a button once.' We'd advise against 'penetration testing.'
